Rev. Wendy is a 2022 Democratic Party primary candidate in Washington, DC, to become the District’s Delegate in the United States Congress. Having worked professionally in communications on Capitol Hill, as an adjunct professor of Communications and recently as an EA to Benjamin Jealous, former President and CEO of the NAACP at the headquarters in Baltimore, Rev. Wendy participated in initiatives on criminal justice reform, civic engagement, economic inequality, and environmental justice. She has work in the areas of education, human services, non-profit advocacy, communications, and chaplaincy.
